Nursery
THE FirstMC NURSERIES PROVIDE:
1. A safe & secure, welcoming environment for your child
2. An infant nursery and toddler room where you can be comfortable leaving your child during our Sunday morning service
3. A supportive and loving team who will care for and pray for your child
3-5 Year Old
FirstMC KIDS
Your preschoolers are welcome in this class during the service for a time to engage in age-appropriate Bible lessons along with journaling, music, activities, and games.
Elementary
FirstMC KIDS
During Service, Elementary kids will:
Worship with their parents in the main sanctuary
Be dismissed around 11:00 am to go with their leader to either the Kindergarten-1st Grade class or 2nd-5th Grade class
Engage in age-appropriate Bible lessons along with journaling, music, activities, and games
Aubree Nelson
Children's Ministry Director
Aubree is a recent graduate from Taylor University and recently joined the Family Life team here at FirstMC. She oversees children from newborn - 5th grade. Her heart is to continue to develop an inclusive children’s ministry, and to pour into FirstMC families and volunteers. Her desire is for all to love Jesus, to know His love for themselves, and to love others.
Note from Aubree: "We are in a spiritual battle for our children. The devil doesn’t start planting lies when we are older but starts when we are kids. I’d love to help you all (especially the parents) to help discover the truths of His unending love for yourselves and plant so many seeds in your children that they are overflowing with God’s love!! We want to be disciples who love Jesus and know His love for us is even greater."
