Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

You can easily do a one-time gift or set up recurring gifts.  If you have questions, please contact the church office.

Give In Person

We have a box in the back of our sanctuary where you can place your gifts.

Christmas Eve Special Offering

On Wednesday, December 24, at 5:30 PM, we will be gathering   together for a time of worship through singing carols, hearing from God’s Word, and taking up our special missions offering. We will give 100% of this special offering away, splitting it evenly between a local partner and a global partner. This year, our local partner is Four:10 Ministries, and our global partner is Destiny Rescue. Both of these faith-based ministries work to rescue children and women from trafficking and exploitation, and then equip each survivor to stay free and reintegrate into society.

We encourage everyone to bring in a check or cash to the service and use the envelopes provided as there will be a time for people to go to the front and put their gift in the manger. You can give online through our website at https://www.firstmc.org/give. Please use the “Special” fund for online giving, and be sure to write "Christmas Offering" in the memo (checks) or comments (online).
