Because of COVID, many students are doing their studies at home. Not every student has a place to study and having a desk helps students be better students. What started as a desire to connect with families at Harrison Hill Elementary School has turned into a project to bless our community.
On Saturday, March 6 and Sunday, March 7, we plan to assemble over 100 folding desks in our fellowship hall using the design created by DreamBuilders. We are offering these desks to families for free and encouraging each student and parent to join with us to assemble desks to meet a practical need. Our fellowship hall will have lots of love and lots of glue. More than wood and glue, we want to start a conversation with each family concerning faith, life, and God.
We plan to deliver each desk to each home with an invitation for each family to attend our upcoming Alpha course which will meet weekly starting on March 20 at 9:30 AM. This course introduces the basics of the Christian faith. Please be in much prayer as we genuinely love our community and nurture new life in Christ.
